BELLAUMEE is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why, and your rights. It is issued in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), the French Data Protection Act (Loi Informatique et Libertes of 6 January 1978 as amended), and the guidance of the French data protection authority (CNIL).

Article 1 - Data controller

Article 2 - Data we collect

We collect: identity and contact data (name, email, shipping address, phone); order and transaction data (products, amounts, order history); technical data (IP address, browser, device, cookies); and any communications you send us. Payment card details are processed directly by our payment providers and are not stored by us.

Article 3 - Purposes and legal bases

We process your data to: perform the sales contract and deliver your order (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR); comply with legal and accounting obligations (Article 6(1)(c)); pursue our legitimate interests in securing and improving our store and preventing fraud (Article 6(1)(f)); and, where you consent, send marketing communications and use non-essential cookies (Article 6(1)(a)).

Article 4 - Recipients

Your data may be shared with our processors acting on our instructions: our e-commerce platform, payment providers, logistics and fulfilment partners, and email/marketing tools. We do not sell your personal data.

Article 5 - International transfers

Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we ensure appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

Article 6 - Retention

We retain order data for the duration required to manage the relationship and to meet legal obligations (in particular a ten-year accounting retention for invoices). Prospect data is retained for up to three years from the last contact, consistent with CNIL recommendations.

Article 7 - Your rights

Under the GDPR and the French Data Protection Act, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, as well as the right to define directives on the fate of your data after death.
